Destiny Middlebrooks currently serves as the Program Assistant for the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs program. 

She graduated from Howard University with a B.A in Strategic, Legal, and Management Communications, with a minor in Sociology. In the past, Destiny supported all on-campus undergraduate study abroad initiatives with an emphasis on increasing the percentage of underrepresented study abroad participants. 

Destiny is also a veteran of the Howard University Student Ambassador program, where she helped students matriculate with college selection assistance, campus immersion, and mentorship. In her spare time, she enjoys tutoring Spanish speakers in English and learning about culture and language across the African diaspora.
